I am Assistant Professor of Politics at Ithaca College where I am also affiliated with the Women’s and Gender Studies Program. I teach courses on gender and feminist politics, political theory, and public policy. My current research focuses on femicide/feminicide in Turkey and Mexico. My other research interests include institutional dimensions of gender-based violence, feminist theory, modern and contemporary political theory, theories of biopower, and digital political participation. It is my dream that one day, I will research happy and light subjects. Until then…
